The business was founded by Alfonso Alvarez in the 1990’s and still continues to be one of the most successful Mexican restaurant in Yonkers. Like most immigrants, they come and seek hope in the United States; trying to forge their own “American Dream”. He started from the bottom, busting tables, working as a line cook, and slowly worked his way up so until he had enough to start his own business. Alfonso has had many road blocks in the road like most immigrants do when coming to a new country. Through hard work, dedication to his business and the help of his family, he made a name for himself in the city of Yonkers.
